MU-FX Reissues Octave Divider Pedal
MU-FX has announced it will be reissuing the classic Musitronics Octave Divider pedal. The new pedal will retain all the qualities of the original thanks to MU-FX creator and builder Mike Beigel, who co-founded Musitronics in 1972.
Equally useful for both bass and guitar, the Octave Divider has Bass, Tone, Dry Mix, and Ringer knobs, where the ringer is a built-in ring modulator effect. Two switches allow for activating the bass stabilize mode and the solo mode switch, between bass and the ringer. The solo mode is then activated via footswitch.
The new Octave Divider has two quarter-inch inputs with one for true bypass operation and one for active bypass switching. Other features include a 2-millimeter aluminum case, a signal to noise ratio of 85dB, and a12VAC 200MA power adapter.
The MU-FX Octave Divider is made in the USA and will have a price point of $333.33. It’s available for pre-order now with an expected shipping date of November 25th.
