Aguilar Introduces Fuzzistor Bass Fuzz Pedal

Aguilar Fuzzistor Bass Fuzz PedalAguilar unveiled a new pedal at this year’s NAMM Show this year called the Fuzzistor. The bass fuzz pedal features a classic silicone transistor distortion circuit for a retro, fuzzy ’70s tone.

The Fuzzistor allows for dialing in your tone with Level, Blend, Tone, and Fuzz controls. Aguilar says the Fuzz control ranges from “subtle to crushing,” while the Blend control allows to mix in your clean signal.

It’s built with a heavy duty steel chassis and is powered by a nine-volt battery or optional universal power supply. It also has a gig-saver bypass that passes your signal through the pedal even in the case of a dead battery.

The Aguilar Fuzzistor bass fuzz pedal will be available soon with a street price of $159.
