Iron Maiden: Powerslave, Live 2008

Powerslave is one of Iron Maiden’s greatest albums, and the title track is just as killer. Here’s the band tearing it up during a performance in Costa Rica with Steve Harris laying it down like only he can.

The clip is taken from a 2009 British/Canadian documentary called Iron Maiden: Flight 666, which followed the band during their Somewhere Back in Time World Tour in 2008.

In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Dude… killer blast to the past. Steve was a huge influence on me through High School when I was starting out on bass. Loved his melody during the breakdown section… and Nicko is just ‘owning’ the drums on this. Good Stuff!

  2. Wore this album out …you could see through it.
