TC Electronic Expands PolyTune Series Tuners
TC Electronic’s PolyTune series is getting two new models added to the lineup with the PolyTune Clip and PolyTune 2 Blacklight. Both tuners support both guitar and bass tuning with polyphonic and chromatic modes.
The PolyTune Clip clips onto the headstock of your bass and automatically switches between polyphonic and chromatic tuning modes. Its display adapts to flip the display depending on the position of the tuner for easy reading. Other features include a stainless steel clip, flat tunings and capo modes, and chromatic tuning only mode. It is powered by a standard Lithium CR2032 coin battery with up to 18 hours of usage.
The PolyTune 2 BlackLight carries all of the features of the PolyTune 2 pedal tuner while being housed in a black metallic enclosure with a blue and white LED display. It has a dedicated bass tuning mode as well as drop-D and capo modes. The chromatic tuner offers accuracy within .5 cents.
The TC Electronic PolyTune Clip will be available in early July with a street price of $49.99. The PolyTune 2 BlackLight will ship in late July with an estimated price of $99.99.
