3Leaf Audio Revamps Proton and Wonderlove Envelope Filters
3Leaf Audio has revamped their Proton and Wonderlove envelope filters, saying the new versions “take the sound made famous by Stevie Wonder and push it to new heights.” Each effect retains its unique voicing with some added features for more flexibility.
The Proton now has a Tone knob for fine tuning the filter cutoff frequency. 3Leaf also increased its sensitivity range to be friendlier with low-output instruments and included a phase-correct output for easy use in blend pedal signal chains.
Wonderlove V2 has a second footswitch that toggles between envelope and expression control, which the company says gives you an envelope filter and a wah in one box. Its jacks are now top-mounted and it has an external toggle for true/buffered bypass selection. Similar to the Proton, it now has increased sensitivity.
The 3Leaf Audio Proton and Wonderlove envelope filters are available now with street prices of $229 and $299, respectively.
