LedBelli Bass Guitars Unveils Majestic Model

Luthier Cleve Johnson of LeBelli Basses has unveiled a new flagship model called the Majestic. The bass, which is the company’s seventh model, sets itself apart in shape as well as construction.

“The Majestic is a departure from the rest of the LedBelli line in that it is the only LedBelli model that does not use Maple as the primary neck wood, and instead uses Wenge,” Johnson writes. “Also, it is the only LedBelli model that is not a bolt on neck.”

It also features a string-thru body with an ebony tailpiece paired with a floating Wenge & Ebony bridge with bone saddle. “The goal was to create a bass that is visually stunning but has a very deep, woody tone reminiscent of the Warwick neck-thru basses of 20 years ago. To further that end, the wood/bone bridge was adopted,” he explains.

The LedBelli Majestic is available now for $3,995.
