Schecter Unveils CV Series Basses
Schecter announced the CV Series of basses at the Winter NAMM Show this year. Available in four and five-string versions, the model centers around its electronics with a new set of the company’s Diamond J-Bucker pickups. The pickups, which visually resemble guitar humbuckers, can be switched between series, split, and parallel operation. Instead of a typical blend knob, the pickups are selected with a three way switch.

The bass features the combo of an ash body with a carbon fiber-reinforced maple neck. It comes with either a maple or rosewood fingerboard and Ivory, Natural Gloss, or three-tone Sunburst color finishes.
The Schecter Guitars CV-4 and CV-5 basses will be available soon with price points of $569 and $649, respectively.
