King Crimson Announces Summer 2017 Tour Dates

King Crimson

After teasing that they would be going on a North American tour this year, King Crimson has finally revealed the tour schedule for 2017. The trek kicks off on June 13th in Seattle, Washington and will make its way across the U.S. and Canada before ending with a pair of to-be-confirmed dates in Mexico City.

“We can finally satisfy all those who have rightly been asking for 2017 Summer Tour dates,” the DGM website stated. “Some are still to be confirmed, but the schedule is as follows. For those wanting special seating – and all manner of other goodies – we are offering fifty “Royal Packages” for each show, exclusively available from this site.”

King Crimson’s 2017 outing will include the band’s “Double Quartet Formation”, which is anchored by Tony Levin on the bass and Chapman Stick. Other members will include bandleader Robert Fripp, saxophonist Mel Collins, singer/guitarist Jakko Jakszyk, and four drummers: Bill Rieflin, Gavin Harrison, Pat Mastelotto and Jeremy Stacey.
