Greuter Audio Unveils the Fuller Drive Pedal
Switzerland’s Greuter Audio has expanded their line of effects with the Fuller Drive. Described as a “very expressive low-to-mid-gain overdrive,” the pedal features a discrete JFET circuit design that they say makes it act like a good tube amp.
“The basic idea was to build an overdrive pedal that can produce the break-up point we love in tube amplifiers,” Greuter writes. “It’s clean when played soft and overdriven with a hint of compression when hit hard.”
It has Drive, Tone, and Volume knobs with a pair of toggle switches on its side. The top switch adds higher frequencies and gain while the lower switch toggles between a fat bottom and a tighter low end.
The Greuter Audio Fuller Drive is hand built in Switzerland. It’s available now with a street price of $290.
