Elrick Bass Guitars Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Limited Edition Bass
Master luthier Rob Elrick is celebrating 25 years of building basses. To commemorate the anniversary, Elrick Bass Guitars has unveiled their first limited edition instrument.
The Elrick 25th Anniversary Bass will be restricted to no more than 10 instruments that feature their most popular features and primary wood selections. The e-volution single-cut body is made from swamp ash with a one-piece, full-face burled buckeye top. Its neck is a 9-piece laminate of figured maple, cherry, walnut and purpleheart with glow-in-the-dark side dots. The fingerboard will be birdseye maple with a special attribute.
“This limited edition series features a custom fretboard with wood inlay, highlighting the flowers and leaves of the trees from which the primary woods are derived,” Elrick writes, adding that “Each bass in this series wears a medallion signifying it’s build number.”
For electronics, the bass will have Aero dual coil pickups with a coil selector and a Bartolini 3-band preamp. The Limited Edition 25th Anniversary Elrick Bass Guitar will be available as a four, five, or six-string with a price of $12,500.
