Rare Earth Music Introduces Magnetically-Powered Pedal Board
Rare Earth Music has unveiled the Earthboard, a magnetically-powered and designed pedalboard that they say decreases the hassles and limitations of conventional designs.
“The patented Earthboard next-gen design incorporates rare earth magnets (the strongest magnets available), a steel-rail system and a long-lasting rechargeable battery that together, provides power and sound to effects pedals and removes the messy cobweb of adapter cords,” Rare Earth writes. “The rechargeable battery eliminates the need for wall electricity and provides a true isolated power source that removes noise interference, annoying hums, and grounding issues.”

The Earthboard comes in three models that can hold five, seven, or eleven standard size effects pedals. The full systems come with a docking station, gravity boots and tethers, and the rechargeable battery with its boot. The boards are available now with prices ranging from $350 to $649.
