Fender Introduces Limited Edition Midnight Hour Precision Bass

Fender recently produced a short film called “Artform” with producers Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge, also known as The Midnight Hour. The mini-doc highlights the duo’s musical journey through the lens of hip-hop. To celebrate the collaboration, Fender also released the Limited Edition Midnight Hour Precision Bass.
The new bass takes its cues from the ’60s era with a purple sparkle gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish over an alder body. Its maple neck sports a “1963 C” shape profile, while a Pure Vintage ’63 Split-Coil Precision Bass pickup sets the old school tone. Other features include a vintage-style heel-adjust truss rod, gold hardware, a pickup cover, and a purple shell pickguard. The bass’s neck plate is engraved with “The Midnight Hour.”
Check out “Artform” for a feel of where the bass’s aesthetic is coming from:
The Fender Limited Edition Midnight Hour Precision Bass is available for $2,395 exclusively through Linear Labs Music.

Nice one.
That looks awesome. Throw it on the pile of other guitars I “need”.
