Dwarfcraft Devices Releases the HAX2 Pedal
Dwarfcraft Devices has released a new take on one of their earliest effects. The HAX2 is described as “light years beyond” the original and adds the option of a square or sine wave ring modulation. Each of the waveforms has a broad frequency range, which Dwarfcraft says ranges from subsonic tremolo to laser blaster highs to a warm chorus-like effect. A new envelope follower applies your right-hand dynamics to the frequency of the ring mod for “subtle to extreme shifts.”
The HAX2 also has a filter mode that features a high preset resonance for high harmonic content without self-oscillation. It also has the envelope follower and can be used for “percussive sounds, funky wahs, and synth-like tone shaping.”
The Dwarfcraft Devices HAX2 will be shipping in early December for $249.
