Eric Gales Releases “The Bookends,” Featuring MonoNeon and Orlando Thompson

Eric Gales: The BookendsEric Gales has proven himself to be a wizard on the guitar, but on his new album The Bookends he chose to push himself as a vocalist. The decision came after the range of guest musicians on the album as well as working with producer Matt Wallace.

“I heard his work and the kind of people he has produced such as Maroon 5, Faith No More and all these sorta cats. When we met up together it was just perfect. I just trusted the guy and it ended up being great, I love Matt Wallace,” Gales explains.

The Bookends features collaborations with B. Slade, Doyle Bramhall II, and Beth Hart. It’s anchored with bass work by Gales himself as well as heavyweights MonoNeon and Orlando Thompson. Get a taste of the album with “Whatcha Gon’ Do” with MonoNeon laying down his signature groove:
