Grateful Dead co-founder Bob Weir will be taking his side project Bob Weir & Wolf Bros back out on the road this September. The trio is filled out by former Primus drummer Jay Lane and Was (Not Was) bassist Don Was.

A classic Foreigner gig from the band’s prime is now available as an album and a concert film. “Live at the Rainbow ’78” captures the group during a sold-out show at London’s Rainbow Theatre on April 27, 1978.
Reverb Acquired By Etsy
The online music gear marketplace Reverb has announced it will be acquired by Etsy. The website, which was founded in 2013, signed an agreement to be purchased for $275 million which will close in the coming months.

KISS may be busy on their sprawling farewell tour for the foreseeable future, but Gene Simmons will be making time this year for an art exhibit. On October 12th, Simmons will unveil a collection of 20 of his own basses at the Animazing Gallery.
