Retro-Sonic Announces Flanger Pedal

Retro-Sonic Flanger PedalCanada’s Retro-Sonic has expanded their effects palette with a flanger pedal based on the late seventies “18v Electric Mistress.” It uses the same BBD path as the original, though some upgrades make it more usable.

“These early original versions are known for being very noisy (even when they were switched off) and had a nasty volume drop when engaged,” Retro-Sonic writes. “These issues have been corrected in this modernized version of the pedal.”

The pedal has Rate, Range, and color controls as well as a level control for dialing in your sound. It runs on 12-18VDC power and has true bypass. It’s available soon with a U.S. street price of $199.

Retro-Sonic Flanger Pedal Features:

Rate, Range and Color control
Overall Level control to adjust perfect unity gain (no volume drop)
Heavy duty foot switch for True By-Pass switching
Analog BBD delay path
Powered by 12-18VDC
