Germany’s Duesenberg Guitars has unveiled a new bass model called the Triton. Its name reflects its three-pickup configuration.

Leonid & Friends, the band formed by bassist Leonid Vorobyev, is back with another fantastic Chicago cover. “Call On Me” originally appeared on the 1974 album, “Chicago VII.” As always, the band nails it.

It’s been 50 years since the Allman Brothers Band was formed, and the celebration is continuing with the release of their explosive live performance at the Fillmore West in 1971. Bassist Berry Oakley was in top shape with the band and even took to singing “Hoochie Coochie Man.”

Steve Eisenberg is a luthier based in Phoenix, Arizona who uses all of his specialties to create unique and functional basses. This week we’re checking out the Highboy, which has two extended horns for balancing whether you sit or stand.

Nenad Vasilic shared another video with us - and a preview to his new album, “Bass Room,” which drops this month. In this clip, Nenad performs the solo fretless tune, “Rose,” utilizing his Woodguerilla Ria V signature model.

Bassist and producer Brady Watt have teamed up with rapper Bishop Nehru to release “The Real Book, Vol. 1.” The five-song album blends Watt’s hip-hop bass lines into thicker textures with Nehru spitting bars over top.

MXR has unveiled a new pedal called the Clone Looper. The minimalist design has two footswitches to toggle between recording and play/stop, but that doesn’t reflect all of its capabilities.

Last year, we featured an incredible video featuring Abraham Laboriel and Pee Wee Hill, entitled “The Bass Walk.” Now they’re back with the follow-up.

Redd Kross is back with a new album called “Beyond The Door.” The group, founded by brothers Jeff McDonald (vocals/guitar) and Steve McDonald (bass/vocals), offers unique blend of ’60s and ’70s psychedelic, with shades of punk.

Darkglass Electronics has unveiled a new limited-edition amp. The Darkglass Electronics Microtubes 900 v2 Limited Edition once again features artwork on the top lid by artist Christopher Lovell.

Peter Hook is continuing to tour his discography with a new North American run scheduled for October and November. The former Joy Division and New Order bassist will be taking his band The Light out to perform the early nineties New Order albums.
