EBS Adds MultiComp to Blue Label Pedal Series
EBS recently unveiled the “Blue Label” pedal series that updates their flagship models with new features. They have now announced the third unit in the lineup with the Multicomp Blue Label.
The pedal, which is a dual-band compressor, has been reduced in size by 12% and can operate continuously at up to 18 volts. They’ve also added a parameter to adjust your compressor settings.
“The major feature added to the new EBS MultiComp Blue Label is a control on the front panel to adjust the threshold level or Sensitivity,” the company writes. “The more you turn up the control, the higher the sensitivity. The benefit of the Sensitivity-control is that you can adjust it to match the output level of your instrument. A center click indicates the factory setting value on former editions to offer a reference point to your old MultiComp.”
Other features include three modes (Tubeism, Multi-Band, and Normal) and internal controls to adjust the balance between the bands. Check out Henrik Linder & Erik Arkö giving the pedal a spin:
The EBS MultiComp Blue Label carries a street price of approximately $199.
