Leland Sklar is no stranger to the annual “Reader Favorite Bassists,” and he makes it once again for 2019. One of the most sought-after bassists on the scene, Leland was busy yet again with some exciting news on The Immediate Family and a tour with Phil Collins. Add to that some incredible videos from over his career, which landed Leland at #10 on this year’s list.

    Scott Spray Johnny Winter bassist is a force to be reckoned with.. Better then Tai, or Dart.. A top studio bassist to writing and playing on The Today Show theme. And in the movie One True Thing ….

    I’d put Verdine White of Earth, Wind & Fire and Gale Ann Dorsey previously with David Bowie and now with Lenny Kravitz on that list of best bass players too.
