Source Audio Unveils the EQ2 Programmable Equalizer Pedal

Source Audio EQ2 Programmable Equalizer PedalSource Audio has expanded its highly tweakable line of effects pedals with the EQ2 Programmable Equalizer. Debuted at the Winter NAMM Show, the pedal is the second generation of their popular equalizer pedal.

“The EQ2 Programmable EQ is a combination graphic and parametric equalizer pedal with 10 adjustable frequency bands, stereo inputs, and outputs, 8 onboard presets, 128 MIDI accessible presets, 5-pin DIN input and thru jacks, and a master volume with an additional 12dB of boost,” the company explains.

The pedal has a large LED screen for clear visualization of your settings and a simple control layout for dialing in your sound. As with many of Source Audio’s pedals, it is compatible with the company’s Neuro Mobile and Desktop editors to allow for tweaking each of the settings and alternate routing options.

“The pedal also includes a USB port for connecting to the Neuro Desktop Editor or receiving MIDI program change (PC) and continuous controller (CC) messages from a digital audio workstation (DAW),” Source Audio writes. “The EQ2’s 1/8” Control Input jack connects with either the Source Audio Dual Expression Pedal or Source Audio’s Neuro Hub. The Neuro Hub smoothly incorporates the EQ2 into the greater Source Audio ecosystem.”
