The Strokes Return with “The New Abnormal”

The Strokes: The New AbnormalThe Strokes have returned with their sixth album that, given the current situation, is aptly entitled The New Abnormal. The group’s first new album in seven years is firmly in the band’s style though with a more laid back feel.

The group enlisted music producing wizard Rick Rubin for the effort. Nikolai Fraiture’s bass is prominently mixed throughout the songs. Check out one of the lead singles, “Brooklyn Bridge to Chorus”:

The New Abnormal is available now on CD, vinyl and as a digital download (iTunes and Amazon MP3).
