ESP Adds to LTD F Series Basses

ESP LTD F-1005 Bass

ESP has launched a new set of basses in its F Series from the LTD line. The LTD F-1004 and F-1005 are part of the LTD Deluxe range and feature a flamed maple top in a see-thru black finish over their sculpted bodies. They’re also fitted with the Fishman Fluence pickup system.

“The innovative Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbars offer multiple voicings with coil-splitting via a push-pull volume control, as well as balance control and a 2-band EQ with a 3-way mini switch for voice 1, voice 2 (mid-cut), and voice 2 (mid flat),” the company writes. “Both basses use neck-thru-body construction, and have a 24 stainless steel fret neck with Macassar ebony fingerboard with a See Thru Black Satin finish on the back of the neck.”

They’ve also added to the budget side of the F Series with the F-204 and F-205, which feature the same design in a more economical package. The four and five-string basses are built with mahogany bodies, a five-piece maple, and jatoba neck, and ESP designed pickups with a 3-band EQ.

The new ESP LTD F Series basses are available now. The F-1004 goes for $1,299 while the F-1005 is $1,349. The F-204 and F-205 have street prices of $469 and $499.

  1. I have an LTD fretless 4 string in spalted maple and I love it.These finishes are great but I hope that body style isn’t all that’s available.
