ESP Updates LTD D-Series Basses for 2020
ESP has updated its LTD D series of basses for 2020 with a new wood configuration. Most notable is their new burled poplar top that comes in a Black Natural Burst Satin finish.
“We’ve had the D-Series basses for quite a long time in the LTD lineup, but this is the first year that we’ve completely redesigned them,” says Jeff Klopmeyer of ESP. “These are basses that are affordable. They come in four-string, five-string, and six-string models. They really give you a lot for the money.”
The D-4, D-5, and D-6 feature neck-through construction with a seven-piece maple and jatoba neck with a mahogany body. Their roasted jatoba fingerboards have 24 frets, which are inlaid with offset dots. For electronics, the basses are fitted with ESP Designed SB pickups matched with a three-band EQ. Other common attributes include Grover Tuners and LTD bridges.
The ESP LTD D-Series basses are available for order now with prices ranging from $749 to $849.
