Schecter Reintroduces the Ultra Bass
Schecter Guitar Research is reintroducing its Ultra Bass series this year that will include a four-string and a five-string model. The 2020 version will feature the company’s original Ultra body shape fitted with EMG TBHZ pickups.
“Designed with dual volume and tone controls, a thin ‘C’ neck for comfort and the Schecter Custom bass bridge that allows string thru or top load capabilities,” Schecter adds.
Utilizing neck-through construction, its mahogany body is fitted around a five-piece maple and mahogany neck that’s reinforced with carbon fiber rods. Its ebony fingerboard has pearloid offset dots that switch sides after the 12th fret.
The Schecter Ultra Bass comes in Pelham Blue, Satin Black, and Satin White. It will be available soon with street prices of $999 for the four-string and $1,099 for the five-string.
