Chris DeAngelis, Dave Livolsi, and Adrian Tramontano: Prelude #2 in C Minor

It’s not often you hear some funky Bach, but here we are. Bassists Chris DeAngelis and Dave Livolsi play through the Baroque composer’s tricky Prelude #2 in C Minor while drummer Adrian Tramontano lays down a funk beat to completely change the flavor of the song. And he does it in style.

It just goes to show the timelessness of Bach’s music and the power of a good rhythm section.

In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.
