FORE Releases “Hombres” with Christian “Speesy” Giesler
Punk band FORE has unleashed their debut full-length album called Hombres, which follows up on their self-titled EP. It’s the first release to feature former Kreator bassist Christian “Speesy” Giesler, who joined the lineup in May. FORE is filled out by Jeramie Kling (Venom INC, Massacre), Taylor Nordberg (Massacre), and Brian Stephenson (Old James).
“I’m beyond excited to release this album. It has been a blast creating it with such talented and easy-to-work-with musicians, and it’s a great feeling to do it all in-house, without any help from any management or label,” Nordberg says. “You may be wondering about the album cover. Well, we always wanted to collaborate with our buds in ZZ Top and Deep Purple but our schedules never lined up so we figured this was the next best thing.”
Giesler’s snarling bass tone and aggressive style help to push the songs forward. If you’re a fan of late ’80s and early ’90s punk music, be sure to give this a listen.
Hombres is available now via Bandcamp.
