Warwick Unveils Gnome Micro Bass Amp Series

Warwick Gnome Micro Bass Amp

Warwick has stepped into the world of micro amps with the Gnome series of pocket-sized bass amplifiers. The lineup includes three models – the Gnome, Gnome i, and Gnome i Pro – that step up features.

“The Gnome amp heads were developed to offer transparent, crisp and noise-free performance combined with an ultra-portable, lightweight design in an affordable and reliable amp for discerning musicians and for the seasoned professionals,” the company writes. “The 3-band EQ with +/- 15 dB cut/boost per band offers a lot of options to shape the sound according to your own ideas and the balanced post-EQ XLR DI output with switchable ground liO offers an easy way to use the Warwick Gnome for live gigs or studio recordings. Silent practicing is also possible if you disconnect the speaker output and use only your headphones.”

The standard Gnome and the Gnome i are both rated at 200 watts at four ohms. The Gnome i builds upon the standard model with a USB audio interface for connecting to a PC, Mac, or mobile device for recording or signal processing. Further, the Gnome i Pro includes the audio interface and bumps the power up to 280 watts.

The Warwick Gnome bass heads will be shipping in September with prices ranging from approximately $175 to $275.
