Les Claypool

Editor’s Note: At the end of each year, we tally up all the article and video views on No Treble to come up with a list of the top 10 most popular bassists. This is entirely based on readership, not on opinions, polls, or anything else. Just having some fun.

As with many of us, Les Claypool had big plans for 2020 but was forced to adjust the schedule. Readers were super excited to hear about his “A Tribute to Kings”, which thankfully is planned for 2021. Add in some videos, and a Fearless Flying Frog Brigade reissue, and Les lands on this year’s list at number eight.
