Nightwish Announces Touring Bassist

Back in January, Marko Hietala parted ways with Nightwish after two decades in the band. The announcement came ahead of their “Human :II: Nature” world tour, and now the pioneering symphonic metal outfit has revealed who will be holding down the bottom for the trek.

”I couldn’t be more honoured to be part of the vehicle of spirit of Nightwish on its onward journey sharing special live moments to come on the Human. :II: Nature. – tour with all of you out there,” the bassist states.
The band’s tour will take them around the globe. They’ve already begun with “An Evening With Nightwish in a Virtual World,” but soon the group will perform in Finland in July before heading to Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Norway, Ireland, the UK, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Austria, and China.
