Cort Revamps Artisan B4 and B5 Element Basses

Cort has revamped their Artisan B4 and B5 Element basses with new features for 2021. The instruments, which are four and five-string models, have been upgraded with high-mass MetalCraft bridges with a dual-string loading system. Their mahogany bodies have been contoured and topped with figured ash.
“On each model, the ash top on mahogany body ensures an ideal balance of warm, yet full and punchy lows, and bright, clear and transparent highs,” Cort writes. “The ash’s beautiful wood grains provide for a more natural aesthetic, especially in Open Pore Natural finish, as well as a bold statement in Open Pore Trans Black and Open Pore Burgundy Red. All three finishes are available for both models.”
Other features include a bolt-on panga panga and walnut neck, a 24-fret maple fingerboard, and Bartolini electronics. The Cort Artisan B4 and B5 Element basses carry street prices of $599.99 and $649.99.

Looks like Cort is really upping their game with these Element basses. The red Element looks to me every bit as pretty as the red Warwick FNA I once had… And the Element now has Bartolini pups and Hipshot Ultralight tuners? For around $500? -WoW!!
