Limited Edition Cliff Burton “Cliff ‘Em All” IPA Beer Unveiled

The last few years have seen many metal icons teaming up with beer manufacturers for special brews. Continuing that trend is KnuckleBonz, Inc. and Calicraft Brewing Co., which have teamed up with the Cliff Burton Estate to unveil the Cliff Burton “Cliff ‘Em All” IPA. The late Metallica bassist’s limited edition beer will available in 40 states to buy online through CraftShack.

More than just a novelty beverage, a portion of the proceeds will go towards the Cliff Burton Scholarship Fund.

“Continuing the mission of Cliff’s father, the late Ray Burton, the Cliff Burton Foundation is centered on fostering the next generation of musical talent,” the Burton Family said in a statement. “We hand pick young individuals from around the world with the same enthusiasm for music and dedication to their craft as the late bassist Cliff Burton had. Cheers to Cliff and Ray Burton, who loved a good beer!”

The beer is made in a classic NorCal style with simcoe and citra hops for a “hoppy, bold, and crushable” drink. It is available for pre-order now for $39.99 with an expected shipping date of late August or early September. The first 500 customers will receive a free poster with their order.
