Sandberg Guitars Introduces BassTheWorld.com Signature Series Basses
Sandberg Guitars and BassTheWorld.com’s Gregor Fris have teamed up to release a special series based on his original Sandberg TT4 Passive Masterpiece Aged bass. Available in Tobacco Sunburst or Black Matte, the bass has many standard specs with several personal touches by Fris, including a Gotoh Vintage style bridge and Kloppmann ’61 JB pickups.
“I chose the lacquered version of Kloppmann’s stunning JB61 pickups for the bridge position,” Fris explains. “It adds some low mids that you just don’t wanna miss out on.”
Other features include an ash body, a maple neck, and 22 frets. Of course, Fris put together a killer video with Rene Flächsenhaar to introduce the bass:
In addition to Black and the Hardcore Aged Tobacco Sunburst, Sandberg will be offering a special run of the bass in a very soft-aged orange. The basses will be available through dealers soon with prices of $2,399, $3,799, and $3,539, respectively.
