Devon Gates Septet: Berklee Two Track
Berklee’s “Two Track” series is wonderful. They just dropped their latest episode, with bassist/vocalist Devon Gates performing three tunes.
Things kick off with Gates on double bass, performing her original song, “Come Here.” Then she switches to bass guitar to perform her arrangements of Blind Willie Johnson’s “Nobody’s Fault But Mine” and Joni Mitchell’s “I Had a King.”
