Mono Introduces the M80 Vertigo Ultra Bass Guitar Case
Mono has expanded its lineup of Vertigo cases for bass with the M80 Vertigo Ultra Bass Guitar Case. The updated and upgraded case has improvements to durability, ergonomics, and organization, the company explains.
One new aspect is the Freeride Wheel System, which straps onto the bottom of the case for easy transportation. The wheels can be removed when not in use. The bass case is constructed with a water-resistant 1680D Ballistic Nylon exterior and further protection from heavy-duty zippers and waterproof zipper tape.
Other aspects include redesigned shoulder straps with extra padding, side release buckles, a Headlock neck suspension system, and The Boot – a molded rubber bottom that bounces off concrete like a sneaker.
Mono says the M80 Vertigo Ultra Bass Guitar Case is designed to fit all standard bodies and “some not-so-standard” basses. It’s available now for $349.99.

I purchased a Mono Vertigo gig bag. After only one year I noticed the rubber like edge piping was falling apart. I contacted Mono and nothing happened. 6 months later it was much worse. At 4 years old and with very little use, it looks awful. Mono USA did not help me out at all. They have no USA customer support phone number. I would not recommend the Vertigo and certainly am disappointed after spending top dollar for a gig bag.
