Epiphone is launching two new bass offerings for 2023 with the Newport Bass and the El Capitan J-200 Studio Bass. Both take their cues from vintage instruments.

I am thoroughly enjoying Tedeschi Trucks Band’s “I Am The Moon” records, so it was a thrill to see the band drop this video. Filmed at Red Rocks on July 29, 2022, here’s the band joined by Steve Berlin of Los Lobos, performing the title track.

2023 is shaping up to be another big year for Christian McBride. His 2020 opus “The Movement Revisited: A Musical Portrait of Four Icons” has been released on vinyl for the first time. He also has a new album coming with New Jawn, and a tour.
