Duran Duran Announces North American Tour Dates
Duran Duran has announced a new North American tour to continue support of their latest album, Future Past. The 26-date outing follows up on a big year for the band, which was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in addition to sold-out concerts across the U.S.
“It’s remarkable to me that as a band, we are still hitting new milestones and introducing the sound of DD to new generations of music lovers,” says singer Simon le Bon. “We are truly grateful that we get to do what we do on a daily basis and that we still love our job as much as we did when we started out some four decades ago.”
Bassist John Taylor and crew will begin “The Future Past Tour” on May 28th in San Jose, California, and cut across the U.S. to finish the first leg in Florida on June 18th. The second leg will start on August 24th in Sacramento, California, but focus more on the East Coast.
Duran Duran will be joined by Bastille and Nile Rodgers & Chic, featuring bassist Jerry Barnes.
