The Funky Knuckles: 2020

The Funky Knuckles have a new album dropping on May 19th, and they’re giving us a preview of what’s to come.

Evan Weiss, who plays trumpet in the band, wrote “2020” and shared the background:

“Needless to say, ‘2020’ was an impactful time for all of us. Given that our band couldn’t rehearse or perform, each instrument was tracked individually, at separate times and in separate locations. We didn’t get to play ‘2020’ live until life started returning to normal. So we were extremely excited to re-record this song as it was intended, with all the intensity and inspiration of a live performance. We are incredibly grateful to play our music together again, and we are incredibly excited to share it with you.”
