Electro-Harmonix Introduces Pico Platform Compressor/Limiter Pedal
Hot on the heels of the Pico POG, Electro-Harmonix has unveiled the Pico Platform compressor/limiter. The compact unit was designed to “offer studio-style compression and limiting to any pedalboard.”
It has the same compression found in their full-sized Platform and has both compressor and limiter modes. Each offers a different ratio setting. In Compressor mode, the ratio is adjustable for more subtlety while in Limiter mode the ratio is maxed out for a squashed signal for limiting peaks and adding girth.
A four-knob control configuration allows you to adjust the volume, sustain, attack, and blend. Finally, the Pico Platform has Soft and Hard Compression Knees for more subtle or dramatic compression styles.
