Charles Berthoud Launches Second YouTube Channel

Bass virtuoso Charles Berthoud has been posting videos to YouTube for a decade, and in the last few years, his channel has blown up thanks to his jaw-dropping style. From his original compositions to making covers of songs as if they were the hardest in the world, he’s rightfully gained over 1.6 million subscribers. Now he’s launching a second channel.

BassCamp will focus on instruction with lessons on technique, bass line construction, music theory, and more. Berthoud describes it as a free version of his ultimate online bass academy through Patreon.

The first lesson, “7 Steps to Writing Great Basslines,” gives you a framework for making your own lines.

In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.
