Bass of the Week: Monkey Bassness No. 22
This week we’re checking out another beautiful instrument by Monkey Bassness. Bass No. 22 has a gorgeous “Red Dragon Blood” dye on its body, which is made from ash and mahogany with a flamed sycamore top. It also has a versatile sound thanks to a pair of Nordstrand Big J Blade 5 pickups and the new Lusithand 800TS preamp. Monkey Bassness says the onboard EQ is based on the Gallien-Krueger 800RB and proves to be very versatile.
Other features include a 7-piece laminated neck, a wenge fingerboard with custom inlays, Schaller M4 tuners, and a Hipshot B-style bridge.

Thx for featuring my latest build. Thx for the support No treble! You are the best!
I have the Monkeybass #10 and have to say I don’t want another one. She is so fantastic, both the playability and the sound. A big thank you to Monkeybassness.
Looks stunning. Well done. ?.
I really like the clearance you have given to the neck. The sound is a jazz on steroids. I would like to suggest you take down the drum volume though, so we can really hear that sweet bass.
Thx william! sorry about the mix, but i always try to not push the bass too much in the mix. But i will keep it in mind! Bass is already sold and probably hiiting the staes by the end of the week. There’s a chance it will be seen on the NAMM show in january
