Zander Zon: Time (Hans Zimmer)

Zander Zon is back with another incredible solo bass performance, and he’s changing things up a bit this time.

“‘Time’ is the main theme from the film ‘Inception.’ It’s one of many absolutely incredible collaborations between Christopher Nolan and Zimmer, along with ‘The Dark Knight,’ ‘Interstellar,’ and ‘The Da Vinci Code,'” Zander shared. “I previously created a multi-instrumental arrangement of this theme but I’ve always wanted to do one with just a four-string bass in standard tuning. Especially because the chords of this theme – mainly A, E, G, D – are all open strings in standard tuning (EADG), which means it fits really well.”
