DR Strings Unveils Dragon Skin+ Bass Strings

DR Strings has expanded its coated string line with Dragon Skin+, which is available for guitar, mandolin, and bass. The new design upgrades the core and wrap wires to be “exceptionally musical, balanced, and loud.”

“Accurate Core Technology creates grooves on the core to cradle the wrap wire, allowing the strings to ring out to their full potential,” DR states. “Designed to feel and sound better, Dragon Skin+ is unlike anything out there.”

The Bass sets come in Quantum Nickel and Stainless Steel versions. The four-string sets come in Light, Medium-Ligh, and Medium gauges while the five-string set comes in Light or Medium. A 6-string set comes in only Medium gauge.

DR also offers the Dragon Skin+ in Multi-Scale packs for four, five, and six-string basses. The multi-scale sets are tapered on the B, E, and A strings, with the B string optimized for scales of up to 37 inches.

The DR Strings Dragon Skin+ Bass Strings are available now, with prices ranging from $34.99 to $49.99 per set.
