Cort Introduces Artisan C Deluxe Basses

Cort Artisan C Deluxe Basses

Cort has added to its Artisan line of basses with the C4 and C5 Deluxe. The Artisan C Deluxe model, available in four- and five-string versions, is built with bolt-on construction and features a lightweight poplar body, a hard maple neck, and a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard.

Cort fits the bass with Bartolini MK-1 pickups as well as a Markbass MB-1 preamp complete with Bass, Mid, Treble, Master Volume, and Pickup Balancer knobs. It also has an active/passive switch for toggling the preamp on and off. Finally, the bass has a MetalCraft M4 bridge.

The Cort Artisan C4 and C5 Deluxe basses are available in Candy Red, Candy Blue, and Black. They’ll be shipping soon and have street prices of $449 for the four-string and $499 for the five-string.
