Aguilar Amplification has announced a third iteration of the NYC edition of its Tone Hammer preamp pedal. The Limited Edition NYC Gold Skyline Tone Hammer, which is hand-serialized and limited to 100 units, pays tribute to the company’s roots in New York City.
7. Spector Announces New Euro CST and Euro LX Basses
Spector’s Euro line of basses have some new additions with the Euro CST and Euro LX basses. Both lines are fitted with the all-new Spector Legacy preamp, which was developed with Darkglass Electronics.

Deep Purple has released a new album. “=1” follows their late career run of number 1 albums “Whoosh!,” “inFinite,” and “NOW What?!.” The rock legends once again worked with producer Bob Ezrin to craft an album that “evokes the pioneering band’s classic sound, without relying on nostalgia.”

The Breeders frontwoman and former Pixies bassist Kim Deal has released a new single called “Coast,” marking her first new solo music in a decade.
