Ibanez Debuts Affordable BTB605 and BTB606 Basses Ahead of NAMM 2025

Ibanez BTB605 and BTB606 Basses

Ibanez has added two new BTB models to their lineup this year, with the BTB605 and BTB606. The latest models, debuting at the 2025 NAMM Show, are five- and six-string basses, respectively, which aim to be a more affordable version of their typically higher-end bass.

“BTB fans will recognize familiar features such as neck-through construction, a 35″ scale length, Ibanez custom 3-band electronics, and the MR5 Mono-Rail bridge,” the company writes.

They add that a new aspect to the basses is their pickups. The Alpha 1 pickups are ceramic bar-style humbuckers that are housed in EMG-sized enclosures.

The Ibanez BTB605 and BTB606 will have price points of $799.99 and $849.99.
