Aguilar Plugin Suite Brings Their Amps, Cabs, and Pedals to Your DAW

For the first time in its history, Aguilar Amplification has announced a set of plugins for recording in a DAW. The Aguilar Plugin Suite is powered by Korg’s proprietary modeling to recreate the sound and feel of the company’s amps, cabinets, and pedals. The software is made to be used for producing in the studio, tracking remotely, streaming live, and more.
“At its core is Korg’s state-of-the-art modeling engine, meticulously engineered to replicate the nonlinear behavior and harmonic complexity of Aguilar’s renowned circuits,” a press release explains. “From the warm, tube-driven DB 751 to the punchy AG 500, every nuance is captured with stunning realism—resulting in tone that breathes, blooms, and responds like the real thing.”
The Aguilar Plugin Suite has the full lineup of the company’s bass gear, including amps (AG, Tone Hammer, and DB 751), cabinets (SL and DB models), and their complete pedal collection. It includes artist-crafted presets, but each unit has a complete set of controls for crafting your own sound.
