Sunn Amps Unveils Beta Mini 200-Watt Amp with Dual Channels for Bass or Guitar

Sunn Beta Mini with Bass

Sunn Amps has introduced the Beta Mini, a 200-watt amplifier that they say “combines the unmistakable sound of the original with the latest technology in a powerful yet compact multi-use instrument amplifier.” It has two independent channels that can be set for bass or guitar, and it weighs just 3.9 pounds.

“The unique analog MOSFET design provides a wide range of tones from clean to a distinctive fuzz-like distortion that cleans up with the instrument volume control,” Sunn writes.

The amp has a three-way switch to operate its two channels separately or together. Each has Drive and Level controls in addition to an active three-band EQ. An effects loop lets you add pedals to your signal path or take the preamp output as a send.

The Sunn Amps Beta Mini is open to pre-order now at $599. The next batch will be shipping in June.
