Gov’t Mule is going to keep things rolling this year with a new co-headlining tour later this year. The “Dreaming the Same Dream” Tour will take place this fall with Grammy-winning reggae artist Ziggy Marley, following Gov’t Mule’s current “Kicking in the Stall” tour.

The tour will kick off on September 23rd in New York City at the Rooftop at Pier 17. They’ll quickly head south to play in Asheville, North Carolina before doubling back to Richmond, Virginia. Things head south to focus on Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and Texas. The final date is scheduled for October 17th at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory on October 17th.

The Mule is anchored by bass guru Kevin Scott, whose phenomenal tone and unshakeable groove drive the band’s live performances. Scott and guitarist/vocalist Warren Haynes recently did a Rig Rundown with Premier Guitar. Get the lowdown on Scott’s bass gear:

Ziggy Marley recently released his 9th album, “Brightside,” featuring bassists Aston Barrett, Jr. and Camilla Charlesworth. Get a taste of the album with “JAH We Give Glory”:
