Meris Ottobit X Multidimensional Pink

Meris has launched the Ottobit X, which they call a “modular degradation and texture engine packed with ’80s nostalgia, pro audio heritage, advanced processing, and high-performance signal paths.” The new unit builds on their vintage-gaming-inspired Ottobit Jr. and Ottobit Sr. pedals.

The list of effects packed into the Ottobit X is extensive. Meris shared the rundown on Facebook.

“Ottobit X includes: Advanced Bit Crusher 6 Glitch Types: Grain Freeze, Stutter, 2 (1 button loopers): Push Loop and Wikki Wikki (vinyl scratching, Tape Stop and Stutter Step 3 Filter Types: Ladder, State Variable and Otto Tron 2 Ambience Types: VHS Reverb and VHS Delay 5 Pitch Types: Poly Chroma, Otto Tune, Micro Tune, Mono Chroma, Lo-Fi 5 Modulation Types: Ring Mod, Div Trem, Tape Mod, Freq Shift, Otto Vibe 4 Preamp Types: Volume Pedal, Tube, Vinyl and Wavefold Intuitive, award winning color screen based user interface adapted from LVX and MercuryX,” they wrote.
