Gov’t Mule’s Kevin Scott Writes His Own Bass Line to KPop Demon Hunters on Scott’s Bass Lessons

We usually share full band performances for Bass Video of the Day, but we had to make an exception for this one because it is so good.

Gov’t Mule bassist Kevin Scott is the latest guest on Scott’s Bass Lessons, and this one took us somewhere unexpected. In the clip, Kevin sits down with his Moollon bass to hear a song from KPop Demon Hunters for the first time. Rather than just reacting to it, he writes his own bass line on the spot, working through the tune and finding a part that fits.
